Five years ago today, Girl Friday came into the world and what a journey it has been so far.
I’ve worn many hats within this business: Boss, marketing, IT, accounts, data controller, PR, client liaison, buyer, legal, HR, travel agent… all in a day’s work as a Virtual Assistant.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing clients, been involved in a whole range of projects and tasks and been very lucky to have the support of fantastic family and friends.

Due to the nature of my work, I’m now able to enjoy working in both the UK and in Spain which is great fun. It’s so lovely to be working where the sun shines and the sky is blue but the UK will always be home.
So, as I get ready to blow up the balloons, blow out the candles and enjoy some cake, I’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you to my wonderful clients (past and present) and to everyone who has supported Girl Friday in whatever way. It’s not easy starting up a business by yourself but it’s altogether possible because of the strength of the support around you and my supporters have been nothing short of amazing. My thanks to each and every one of you – you know who you are.
